As part of the course, I show the class the film " A Life Apart" in order to illustrate what a closely knit community looks like. I have given some thought to inviting someone from the Montreal orthodox community to speak to my class. Given that there are often misunderstandings between the Hasidic  community and non-jews, I thought that this would be a good opportunity break down some steroetypes and educate the public.
