On this countdown day 5 11/11/11, How much good fortune will come our way with those fortuitous numbers?
At the top of page two in #13 is BECKY who got bonked on the
head and thrown into the ditch by Leslie yesterday just like she did us wrong
the night before. If you've read Leslie's contest entry it is abount
injustice. Funny that. Well, not her story, which is anything but funny, but
how I'm feeling that Leslie and injustice are interchangeable words for me right
now.
So, I cleaned up the sty Rick left us in #15. It's looking
better and better and I'll look around for some pretty rocks and pinecones to
adorn it later. As long as we're here we might as well make it home. I ordered
up some beer. That should be ready to pick up later and the nag and I will make
that trip. Do you hear the nag snorting and carrying on already? She really is
getting ready to be glue, isn't she?
Rick is gaining on us again. Let's imagine we are the
collective Muhammad Ali and KO Rick once and for all, shall we? So wearying to
have to keep beating him back with a stick.
Us: #15 with 2252 votes. We picked up 43 votes yesterday.
Not enough. I'm asking the Canadian flank to come to our aid. When they do,
sparks fly! Rick is in #16 with 2189 votes. Let's put Rick back in his place
100+ votes behind us. Way behind us.
