Reader's Digest Countdown: Day 12
You know how time is variable? It either flies or drags,
doesn't it? Well, over the course of the 26,000 years this contest has gone on
other things, like the months of September and October, have flown by. I'm
having medals made up for out team, gold medals, awarded for endurance and
tenacity. Many other teams turned off the trail a long time ago but not us.
We're in it to see the finish line from the top tier places in this
lllloooonnnngggg contest. I wonder who picked the length of the contest at
Reader's Digest? If I ever find that person I'll find something for them to do
for 26,000 years that is equally as fun.
Standings: Us: Place #14 where we are sitting around the
blazing camp fire thanks to the wood we "borrowed" from Becky's site.making
lanyards and singing camp songs like Kumbaya while dreaming about the miracles
of electricity. We have 1968 votes, a pick up of 30 votes. Okay, every day we
have fewer votes than the day before. Let's vote our heads off today and for
the next 12 days so we can end the contest in the fine fettle we started the
contest.
