Countdown to the end of the Reader's Digest Contest: Day 13
Tidying up site #14 today as it looks like this is where we
might spend all the rest of our days in the contest. Put together a scary
scarecrow and planted it at the end of the trail before our camp clearing.
Posted this sign with it, "All out of Hamm's. Mostly out of good humor. If
you're packing presents for us come on in. If not, go jump in a babbling
brook."
Just out of sorts today. BECKY'S fault of course. She is
currently in #12 but she is gunnin' for #11 and doin' a fine job of it. She's at
2158 and Amber, remember her?, in #11 has 2220. I think we'll form a secret
alliance with Amber, just like they do on Survivor, and rig her "vote now"
button so that everytime it's pushed it takes away 10 votes. Heh heh. That's
a good idea, isn't it?
We are at 1938 votes, a gain of 34 votes over yesterday. We
did recoup our lead over Rick who now trails us by more than 200 votes.
Remember the good old days when we were voting in the high 40s to 60 range?
What happened to those folks? Did BECKY put them under an evil spell? She's nefarious like that.
Here we go voting like there is nothing more important to do!
