Happy Halloween from site #14 in the Reader's Digest contest
Happy Halloween! Site #14 has
full-sized candy bars for its fabulous team . For BECKY and her trolls, we have
something too. After the football game broke up yesterday a few of us - well,
all of us plus the stragglers we rounded up to help for a Hamm's - made a
surprise for BECKY. With our magical powers we covered the ice cold babbling
brook with some stuff so it looks like the rest of the ground around it. We
even stifled the babble so it wouldn't give itself away. Then we planted a sign
next to the un-babbling brook saying "Halloween party giving away free Hamm's.
Everyone invited." There is an arrow pointing to the path across the
un-babbling brook. Heh heh. We aren't going to let them freeze to death in the
un-babbling brook although some did have to be talked out of that position.
We'll leave them in just long enough so their voting fingers shrivel away.
Isn't that a good trick? Y'all can come and hide out with us drinking Hamms in
the trees waiting for BECKY and her trolls to fall in if you want. That's
gonna' be a real knee slapper.
Today's standings: Us: 1827 votes - a
pick up of 36 votes. EEK! BECKY is at 2007 votes or 180 votes ahead of
us.Yesterday she was 167 votes ahead of us. Double EEK! Let's fire it up.
There is just a day over two weeks left in the contest. Let's finish
