Reader's Digest Short, Short Story Contest, Tuesday update
We did it! We captured #14 and we HELD it! Hot Diggety Dog!
Beautiful view from here plus that babbling brook. You don't know this so I'll
tell you - each step up the ladder to first place has added amenities. First
place, who by the way has 26,274 votes, is located in the palace at Versailles
while 100th place has an indoor toilet. Anything lower than 100 is a dumpster
dive.
We have 1561 votes which is a pick up 51 votes in the last 24
hours. Still not 60 plus votes though. Did a group of voters go to sea with
the owl and the pussycat in a pea green boat? I'm guessing they don't have
internet access.
Gina is peeved! She is not even thankful that we left her a
fluffed up clearing! She has 1552 votes, a pick up of 20 votes since
yesterday. It seems like most of her voters are in that pea green boat too.
Anyway, her nostrils are flared and she is pawing the
ground. Yowser.
Let's stay in #14 and keep our eyes focused on #13 where,
guess who, BECKY resides with 1758 votes.
