Converting mangers into managers one resume at a time.

Don’t include a cover letter with your resume

A cover letter should always accompany a resume even if it’sgoing to your best friend. And that doesn’t mean a lazy “I’m _____and I’m looking for a job in New York; please see my attachedresume.” Says Lindsay Olson, a partner at Manhattan’s ParadigmStaffing: “I’d like to know why you are contacting me (a particularposition, referral, etc.), a short background about yourself, and acareer highlight or two. It’s important to attempt to set yourselfapart from the competition.”

Isn't it customary to have the title of the subject agree with the content of the subject?

allot: –verb (used with object), -lot·ted, -lot·ting.
To assign as a portion; set apart; dedicate.

Correctly said:  employers do not have a lot...
