We have been practicing Feng Shui for years.  Like everything else, we are sometimes more devoted to it than others.  However, you can bet that our front door is red and that we have a frog just inside our front door!

The bagua is used to determine what areas of your house pertain to one of the eight feng shui principles.  

Our front door and entrance hall face north and therefore represent the career section of our house. To enhance our careers we have used the elements of black and water in our entrance hall.  We have a black table fountain on a tall glass table that you see as soon as you open the door. 

In our wealth corner we have a purple ceramic planter with a shamrock plant in it.

We have many other treatments too and it is fun to think about moving things around to enhance the flow of positive energy (chi).
