Hamburger Hamlet
Whenever we go to Los Angeles to visit Megan Hamburger Hamlet is our restaurant of choice. Of all the restaurants in Los Angeles, this is our favorite! On really lucky trips we go twice! Once for dinner and once for breakfast! We always have the same things - that is part of a tradition, isn't it? Megan has the mini burgers, I have the blue cheese burger and John has a plain old hamburger. We all have fries. You must have fries. Why do they even offer substitute sides like garden salads? Ruins the whole thing. So, low brow we must be but we can live with that.

Old Hollywood restaurant. Love it. I love the Stella sandwich, and you must try either the french onion soup or lobster bisque, yummy!
Cocktails are good and well priced.

Whenever we went to Pasadena years ago to visit my ex-husband's grandmother we always planned a stop at Hamburger Hamlet! Joe had raved about HH for years and it sure did live up to his hype!
