I  grew up square dancing with my dad.  I have no idea why?  I guess it must have been part of the Campfire Girls' ritual?  Anyway, I loved square dancing!  I continued to do it every chance I got but those chances have been gone for a long, long time now.  I still watch the square dancing competition at the State Fair when I can.  Maybe it is simply the allure of the get-ups?  They are something, aren't they?
