Pogo
http://www.pogo.com/
A few years' ago I was drawn to pogo primarily because an arch enemy seemed to live on that site and I had great fun following her around and "eavesdropping" on her there. It is a hoot, I discovered, to be incognito. On pogo you are able to create a "mini"... Here is my "mini" (that I change regularly).
Now, you know what I look like on pogo but you don't know much, do you? There is that fun of hiding in plain sight.
Pogo has lots of games to play and some are challenging and fun and some are just plain dumb, boring or insulting (Case in point "Bingo". OMG! What a waste of space!). My favorite game is Qwerty and their other word games are good for the mind too. I have one "friend" on pogo. She and I started chatting there a while ago and I like her and I have enjoyed her company. However, chatting online and playing games online are two separate functions for me. Playing games is the reason I go to pogo. The vast majority of pogo members seem to be there first for the chat and second for the games and it is a riot to follow along with the soap opera "romances" that pop up by the hundreds and last a week or two before the players change partners.
Since my arch enemy has either left pogo or gone so far underground that I can't find her anymore, I spend very little time there these days. I am certain that like so very many other hobbies and interests I have had over the years pogo will soon be a "has been" as I continue reinventing myself. I do recommend you give it a try though. Some evenings it is a great way to relax. Warning: It can be addictive. Don't let it get you!
