(This is all purely fantasy for me since we will not have rain again until November.)

I hopped on over to www.Zappos.com to see what I could see and this is the first pair I found.  A very cute green pair from Kate Spade.

Here is a quote "look adorable while trekking through the rain."  I think that would be true however at $129.00 a pair "adorable" just isn't enough.   (Apparently I am the only one who felt that something more than "adorable" was called for since they only have a size 6 left.)

Moving on, I clicked on "next pair" and found these by Taryn Rose.

Here is a quote, "These boots are totally stylish and perfect for raining days in fall."  Well, my sainted aunt, I hope so!  No wonder Kate Spade is sold out (and these are available in all sizes and widths).. The cost of being "totally stylish" is a mere $675.75.  (I did note that the difference between being adorable and totally stylish is a plus $546.75.  I don't dare hunt down "smashing".)     
 
I abandoned Zappos and headed over to www.target.com where they have five pages of cute rubber boots for $19.99 a pair.  I have my eye on these.

I'll take cute over adorable or totally stylish and spend the money I saved traveling to a rainy place to jump in the mud puddles!  Woohoo!
